Dr. Justin Dukes
Dr. Dukes grew up in the foothills of Colorado and competed in both football and lacrosse at the high school level. He went on to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Vermont, where he also earned his degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States and has stayed closely connected to athletics throughout his career, coaching lacrosse and working with athletes of all ages. Dr. Dukes is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), bringing a strong performance and movement background to the athletes he works with.
He has advanced training in several soft-tissue and movement-based therapies, including Graston Technique, Active Release Technique (ART), FAKTR-PM, and Advanced Muscle Integration Technique (AMIT). He is also certified in running gait analysis and uses 3D motion capture technology to help runners move efficiently, reduce injury risk, and improve performance.
Outside of work, Dr. Dukes enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, their son –an incoming East High student—and their dog, Nico. He loves skiing, fishing, and traveling whenever possible.
Justin Hazzard
Justin Hazzard has over 22 years of coaching multiple levels of track and field. Specifically, he works with the hurdle crew and handles daily operations at Broomfield High School. On average, a Broomfield hurdler qualifies for the State Meet each year. Coach Hazzard has been grateful to help guide and support over 65 athletes in continuing their love of track and field and desire to compete at the collegiate level. He is even more fortunate to share with his athletes the purity and greatness of track and field.
